Pastor Yinka was born and grew up in Lagos, Nigeria. He found Jesus Christ in 1994 at a Full Gospel Businessmen fellowship and immediately joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Apapa Parish. After serving in several ministry capacities, he became the first Pastor of Jesus House Central Valley upon its inception. Pastor Yinka has a heart of compassion to minister to the hurting and to help people unlock all that God has called them to be. Pastor Yinka trained as a Lawyer and has worked in several multinational corporations. He is married to his best friend Olufunke and they have three boys. Pastor Yinka serves as the Provincial Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God covering Northern California.
Funke Somotun is the First Lady of RCCG, Jesus House, Central Valley, Lathrop, CA (JHCV). She was born in Lagos, Nigeria. Largely influenced by the faith of her mother, she sought out the Lord despite great family resistance.
She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1991. After having a brief stint in a law firm which specialized in Civil Litigation, she worked for several years in the world of banking as part of the legal team. After relocating to the United States, she worked in retail as well as substitute teacher during the years her sons were in elementary and middle schools.
She started out in the prayer and music ministries. She has a passion for young people and for those who have fallen along the hard road of life. She is a champion for the broken and hopeless. She loves to pray and teach the word of God.
She discovered her creative abilities and started an event planning and design business, StacyLaria Designs Inc. She is married to and co-pastors JHCV with Pastor Yinka and they are blessed with three wonderful sons!
Bernadette Ogbeide is a Pastor in Jesus House Central Valley. She was born in Lagos, Nigeria. She gave her life to Jesus in 1996 after many years of resistance at Freedom Hall, Lagos, one of the many parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. She has served in various roles and departments within the church before her current role. Currently, Bernie is the Church Administrator of Jesus House Central Valley where she coordinates the different ministries. She is also the minister responsible for the Prayer and Ushering ministries. Bernadette is a teacher by profession and is blessed with three wonderful girls: Efe, Eghosa and Godwina. Her hobbies include travelling, reading, and cooking.
Anthony Emeka is a Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He began his work with the Lord Jesus Christ many years ago in Africa. He preaches the word of God with passion. He attended the Redeemed Christian Bible College Lagos, Nigeria. He has served in many other ways. He was in charge of Martha’s pantry at JHCV and taught in the School of Disciples. Pastor Anthony taught at Christian Soldiers Bible College Stockton, California. Currently he is in charge of Prison outreach ministry.
Joshua Adelaja, a.k.a. (Mr. A) is a Deacon in Jesus House Central Valley was born and bred in Ibadan, Nigeria and immigrated to the United States in 1978 in search of the "golden fleece". He gave his life to the almighty God and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a very early age. Originally a Methodist, "Mr. A" also worshipped as a Cherubim and Seraphim and a Baptist before converting to the Redeemed Christian Church of God when he and his family joined Jesus House Central Valley Church in August 2004; and has since remained a strong, active, and loyal member of the church. Ordained as a Deacon by the General Overseer in June 2012, "Mr. A" is happily married and blessed with two beautiful daughters: Yewande and Ayotunde. He has worked for both the U.S. government and the State of California as well the private sector in several capacities and recently retired as a Social Worker. Mr. A is currently head of the Treasury Department at JHCV.
Femi Elijah is a Deacon in Jesus House Central Valley. He was born and raised in Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria. His mother first introduced him to Christianity at a very early age. He gave his life to Jesus Christ in 1985 under the ministry of Pastor Godwin Idogo of the Assemblies of God Church, Ibadan, Nigeria. Since then, he has been very active and engaged in Sunday School and music ministries. Also, he is the President of the Men of Valor Ministry at the Jesus House Central Valley and serves as the Chairman of the men’s ministry at the California Zone 2. His passion is to see men take their God-given position at home, church and in the society. Femi is a trained Computer Scientist and has worked in multinational corporations. He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in California. He is married to his childhood friend, Grace and together they are blessed with three boys, Emmanuel, Victor and John.
Nnaemeka Kenechukwu is the Youth Pastor in Jesus House Central Valley. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He gave his life to Christ when he was in high school and has continued to persevere in his journey with Christ. He has attended many Christian conferences and trainings in his bid to serve God better. He graduated from the Apostolic Training School of Latter Rain Assembly. He also attended the School of Christian Drama. He is also a graduate of the School of Disciples and the Redeemed Leadership Institute (RLI). Currently, he is the Youth Pastor at Jesus House Central Valley and he is responsible for the spiritual growth and discipleship of the Youths. Nnaemeka believes that connecting with Youths spiritually requires more than the traditional forms of preaching and engages untraditional means to reach the Youths. He is happily married to his beautiful wife, Layo Kenechukwu and they are blessed with three lovely children, Amara, Ebere and Ihuoma.
Oluwatoyin Adebowale is a devoted member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, where she currently serves as the Provincial Music Minister/Director and an active member of the Prayer Department at RCCG Jesus House Central Valley. Oluwatoyin gave her life to Jesus Christ in August 1994 during an annual music concert at her former church. Born into an Anglican family and raised in Bishop Adelakun Howells Memorial Church (BAHM), her early spiritual foundation laid the groundwork for a lifetime of faith. She moved to the United States in December 2002, the same year she joined the RCCG family through marriage. Since then, she has remained a faithful and committed Redeemer. Under the spiritual leadership of Pastor Yinka and Pastor Funke, Oluwatoyin has grown deeply in her relationship with God. A passionate worshipper, Oluwatoyin has always served in the music department, where her love for worship continues to flourish. For her, worship is more than a ministry—it is a place of rest and deep communion with God. Her dedication has led her from serving as a Zonal Director to her current provincial role. Through these leadership experiences, she has learned valuable lessons in patience, humility, and respect. In addition to her musical calling, Oluwatoyin is also actively involved in intercessory ministry, faithfully serving in the Prayer Department.Her favorite Bible verse is:“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13Outside of ministry, Oluwatoyin enjoys singing and finds great joy in cooking—a hobby she embraces wholeheartedly. She is married to Sunday Adebowale, and together they are blessed with four wonderful sons. They have been joyfully married for nearly 16 years.
Abimbola Elizabeth Emiko is a devoted follower of Christ and the Head of the Prayer Department at RCCG Jesus House Central Valley (JHCV). She surrendered her life to Jesus Christ in April 2005, and since then, her life has been a testimony of God's grace and faithfulness. Born on February 25, 1973, Abimbola has a deep passion for worship and praise, and she finds great joy in fellowshipping with brethren, spending time with family, and traveling. She is blessed with three sons and one daughter and has been joyfully married since November 1, 1997—celebrating over 27 years of marriage.As the Head of the Prayer Department, Abimbola leads with a heart of intercession, faithfully standing in the gap for others and helping cultivate a culture of prayer in the church. Her leadership and dedication have inspired many to deepen their walk with God through prayer. Her favorite scripture is:“I will lift up my eyes to the hills—from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” — Psalm 121:1–2 (NKJV)Abimbola continues to serve the Lord with joy and reverence, trusting fully in His promises and guiding others through the power of prayer.
